Protection for those who volunteer to protect us.
Reliable insurance protection in the event of a life-altering accident is essential, especially for reserve and auxiliary law enforcement personnel who may not be covered under workers’ compensation.
An Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Accident Medical benefit (ADD+Me) offers some of this protection to reserve and auxiliary deputy sheriffs for a covered injury, paralysis, or death resulting from a covered accident while on-duty.
What are the benefits?
If a reserve/auxiliary law enforcement officer is injured while on duty, the policy pays a lump sum for accidental loss of life, limb, sight, speech, or hearing. In addition, the policy will also pay (up to the policy limit) the cost of treating an accidental injury.
